One of Bern’s most scenic vantage points. Perched above the Old Town, this park was once a vineyard and later transformed into a rose garden in the early 20th century.
From the Rosengarten terrace, the view of Bern is unmatched. You’ll see the rooftops of the Old Town clustered within the curve of the Aare River, the spire of the Bern Minster rising above, and the distant silhouette of the Alps on a clear day. As the sun sets, the sandstone buildings glow golden, and the city takes on a magical warmth.
The Rosengarten also features a restaurant where we will gather for dinner. Known for its relaxed atmosphere and panoramic views, it is a favorite spot for both locals and visitors — a true Bernese experience.
