The ceremony will be held in the castle’s historic chapel. This intimate space dates back to the late 15th century, with beautifully preserved wall paintings that speak to its long history and timeless charm. After the ceremony, guests are invited to enjoy a relaxed apéritif in the beautiful Schloss Oberhofen park and on the castle’s lakefront terrace. With breathtaking views of Lake Thun and the surrounding Alps, this picturesque setting is the perfect place to toast the happy couple.
A selection of champagne and light refreshments will be served as you mingle and soak in the scenery, while everyone enjoys photos and observing the castle grounds. Following the apéritif, we invite you to join us for a reception dinner at the elegant Restaurant Schloss Oberhofen, set within the castle’s historic walls and overlooking the serene waters of Lake Thun.
The evening will begin with a warm welcome and the soothing melodies of a live harpist, creating the perfect romantic atmosphere. Guests will enjoy a full-course gourmet dinner, thoughtfully crafted to showcase the finest local ingredients. Each course will be paired with a selection of exquisite wines, chosen to complement the flavors and elevate the dining experience.
With its candlelit ambiance, panoramic lake views, and timeless charm, Schloss Oberhofen promises a truly memorable evening of celebration, laughter, and unforgettable moments shared with family and friends.
